What we are coming to realize is that the underlying causes of many chronic ailments are being caused by the unseen pollution inside our homes, offices, schools, hospitals and public buildings. A study by the University of Arizona shows that North Americans touch an average of 300 surfaces every 30 minutes, picking up germs and, in many cases, transporting them elsewhere.

One (1) out of every 5 surfaces people touch in offices, playgrounds, public spaces and stores contained traces of body fluids that could contain pathogens (e.g.: Avian Flu, MRSA, Swine Flu, bacteria, viruses and other “superbugs”) and the riskiest places were:

• Busses and other public transportation
• Restrooms (public and private)
• Shopping carts
• Escalator and safety rails
• Work surfaces (e.g.: Keyboards, Bank Machine key pads…etc.)
• Restaurant tables
